Beacon of Hope Circle

hopeThere is a way you can be the future lifeline for animals in need. You can bring a caring, healing touch to animals for generations of people to come. You can become a member of the Beacon Circle when you name the Animal Rescue League of Fall River in your Legacy Estate Planning. Legacy gifts (often called “planned gifts”) strongly demonstrate you are making a commitment to the future care of animals in our community. The most common form of planned giving is made through your will. Your will distributes the property in the manner you wish when you pass on. If you would like to remember the League with a Legacy Estate Gift, please have your attorney notify the League of the terms, conditions, and circumstances of your will.

The Animal Rescue League of Fall River is a tax exempt 501 (C) (3) non-profit community organization chartered by the IRS. Our Federal EIN number is 04-2103711. If you already have a will, you need only call your attorney and advise him/her of your interest in making a bequest to the Animal Rescue League of Fall River. In most cases, a bequest may be stated by the creation of a codicil to your existing will.

The League’s Faxon Animal Care and Adoption Center, a division of the League, is an important safety net for homeless, abused, and neglected animals – saving them from cruel and neglectful situations, providing medical care and a temporary home until we find them loving homes. Leaving a planned gift is a special way to continue improving their world and provide them with a second chance. Your planned gift will provide the League with long-term support for its life-saving programs.

There are several other ways to designate the League as part of your legacy. Legacy gifts can take many forms, but all share the unique characteristic that they allow you to ultimately donate more to help save the lives of animals than you may have ever thought possible while retaining the flexibility to donate conservatively during the course of your lifetime.

A Legacy Gift can be one of the following:

A gift or “bequest” from your Will or Trust

Naming Animal Rescue League of Fall River a beneficiary of your Retirement Plan (IRA)

Naming Animal Rescue League of Fall River a beneficiary of a Life Insurance Policy

Naming Animal Rescue League of Fall River a beneficiary of a savings, checking, brokerage or other transfer on death account (TOD)

Each of these gifts will allow you to enjoy specific tax advantages as well, so it is recommended that you discuss your personal financial plan with a professional. (If you have already remembered the League in your estate plans, please contact us.) To make a planned gift to the League, please contact John Panarese, Executive Director, for more information at 508-646-9663 or email John@ARLFR.org.

We invite you to be a part of our mission and vision of the Animal Rescue League of Fall River and the excitement and hope it provides to the animals in need. For animals in total darkness, a “Beacon of Hope goes a long way.”
