PAW  LEADERSHIP  COUNCIL

Consider joining the Animal Rescue League’s People for Animal Welfare (PAW) Leadership Council. The PAW Council is a very unique and select group. As a PAW member, you will be recognized as one of the League’s philanthropic leaders—helping hundreds of homeless animals that enter through our shelter doors each year. The significant support provided by the League’s PAW members enables us to provide high-quality care to our animals and prepare them for second chances in a new, forever loving home.

Membership in the PAW Leadership Council is based on annual donations calculated according to the calendar year. Anyone contributing $500 or more in one calendar year earns PAW membership for one year following the donation. PAW Membership is accompanied by a variety of benefits according to donor level.

PAW Leadership Council annual benefits include:

• PAW Leadership Council Member Certificate
• PAW Membership Pin that will distinguish you as a People for Animal Welfare Leadership Council Member at all League events
• Free subscription to the League’s eNewsletter “Purrs n Paws” and other League eNews Information
• Invitation to the Annual Meeting and attend Leadership events
• You will receive recognition as a PAW Leadership Council Member in the ARLFR’s Annual Report
• Invitation to League’s annual gala “Evening to Paws”

What You Make Possible by your Gift

Unrestricted gifts to the Animal Rescue League of Fall River enable us to provide the daily care and attention that each of our quests need. Following are just a few of the ways that donations help the animals in our temporary care.

• $500 can pay for a desperately-needed dental cleaning for three of our dogs or cats. Frequently, animals that find their way to our Shelter arrive having had no previous medical attention. Dental cleanings are critical to help animals avoid serious infections and chronic pain.
• $1,000 can pay for three dogs to receive life-saving heartworm treatment.
• $1,500 helps to cover the cost of x-rays, surgery and rehabilitation for a dog or cat with extraordinary medical needs.  The League’s staff can offer many of these animals a second chance for a long, happy life with new adopters.
• $2,500 can purchase two cat condos for our adoption areas.
• $5,000 helps to cover spay /neutering and micro-chipping of all adoptable dogs for three months.
• $10,000 helps to offset the cost of food, medications, and veterinary care for shelter animals for one month
