Our S.A.F.E. Program

In the southern part of the United States, there are more dogs than there are loving homes. To help relieve the stress on southern shelters, many New England shelters transport unwanted dogs from the south up north where there are numerous homes lined up and waiting.

Our S.A.F.E. Program is an accumulation of funds used to pull, transport, quarantine and rehab animals from southern states in order to find them loving homes. It is not an easy process, but we’re dedicated to the cause.

Transportation Fees: $70-$170 per animal

MA Mandated Quarantine: $110 per animal

Heartworm Treatment: $300-$1,500 per animal (dependent on how severely affected the animal is)
